The United Methodist Human Rights Monitor has accused the Special Presidential Task Force responsible to clean up Monrovia of brutality.

The group’s Program Director accused members of the Task force of beating on street sellers.

Mr. Jefferson Knight said while his group appreciates the clean-up exercise, brutality was not the way to get people off the streets.

Mr. Knight called on the Presidential Task Force to slowdown its exercise and review the activities of its members.

When contacted, the head of the Presidential Task Force Mary Broh told Star Radio she would only respond when she sees her accusers.
