Three murder suspects set free in Bong County Print E-mail

The ninth Judicial Circuit Court in Bong County on Monday acquitted three persons of murder charges.

Nowah Kwenah, Korto Yarpkawolo and Peter Topkah were arrested in August 2008 in connection with the mysterious death of a one year old child. 

The decomposed body of little Samukai Kollie was found a month after he mysteriously disappeared during a brush coo on February 19, 2008. 

The incident occurred in the Town of Galai in Kpaii District. 

Judge Say-ka-je-po Wollo in his final ruling said the acquittal was due to the state’s failure to provide sufficient evidence to convict the suspects.
