Lawyers who represented the rape convict Solomon Musa Fallah have criticized the guilty verdict.
Attorney Sunifu Sheriff said the evidence adduced at the trial was not sufficient for a conviction.
The Defense lawyer told Star Radio state witnesses contradicted each other during the trial.
Attorney Sheriff said the Montserrado Defense team will take its case to the Supreme Court.
But Solicitor General Tiawan Gongloe dismissed the claims as untrue.
Cllr. Gongloe said such claims could not be true especially where two different sets of jurors reached the same decision.
The Supreme Court reminded the case in 2006 upon a defense appeal for lack of adequate representation.
