Three Liberian players were on the score sheet for their respective clubs over the weekend in Indonesia’s premiership league.


Eric Weeks was the most notable among the scorers with his seventh goal of the season for his club Persiwa Wamena.


Weeks opened the scoring for Persiwa in the 2nd minute of the match in their 3-0 thrashing of Persija Jakarta.


Former LPRC Oilers leading scorer Varney Boakai was on the score sheet for the first time this season.


Varney Boakai helped his club Persela Lamongan to an entertaining 2-0 win over Persema Malang.


The Liberian international scored in the 87th minute of the match from a brilliant effort.


Elsewhere, John Tarkpor Sonkaliey ended his goal drought as he hit the net on Sunday in his club league victory.


Takpor’s club Persebaya Surasbaya scored an impressive 2-0 win over PSM Makassar.


The Liberian international midfielder scored the match winner in the 51st minute to the delight of the home fans.
