A medical doctor from the JFK is expected to clarify Tuesday whether or not the document from the hospital in the Angel Tokpa murder case was altered.
Judge Blamo Dixon summoned Dr. Wilhelmina Jallah for the clarification based on a request by the parties.
Defense lawyers on Friday alleged someone added a phrase to the medical chart from the hospital.
The defense described the controversial phrase, ‘trauma to the vagina and neck’, as dangerous to the interest of the defendants.
According to our judicial correspondent, the phrase is in the original document but is absent from the duplicates.
Our reporter said Dr. Jallah’s clarification could be crucial to the determination of the case.
Though the prosecution resisted the manner in which the allegation was made, it welcomed the conduct of a probe by the court.
It accused defense witness Eric Hney, and the first team of investigators of erasing the phrase from the photocopies to support their conclusion of a suicidal death.
