The office of the Acting Speaker of the House has dismissed suggestions that Mr. Tokpah Mulbah is unqualified to serve as Speaker of the House of Representatives.

The Administrative Assistant to the Acting Speaker said the assertion made by Nimba County Representative Saywah Dunnah was made out of malice.

Mr. Clarence Farley told Star Radio Mr. Mulbah would not have been elected Deputy Speaker if he lacked the requisite credentials.

Mr. Farley said all of Mr. Mulbah’s credentials were presented to the body before he was elected Deputy Speaker.

Nimba County Representative Saywah Dunnah on a local talk-show Tuesday alleged that Mr. Mulbah lacks the academic credentials to head the Lower House.
