A health post to cater to the primary health needs of the township of Sinta in Margibi County has been established by the Cooper Family.

Dr. Joseph Cooper based in England is in the country supervising the completion of the Sinta Health Post.

Dr. Cooper said a health survey conducted shows the prevalent health problem in Sinta to be malaria, respiratory track infection and the various childhood diseases.

Dr. Cooper said he and his brother Oscar Cooper would use resources from their family rubber farm, subsidies from government and friendly organizations to sustain the school and the health post.

He said Physicians, Physician Assistants and Nurses would be recruited for the smooth function of the Sinta Township Health Post.

Dr. Cooper said the health post and the school were the Cooper family contribution to their birthplace in Sinta Township.
