U.S. Ambassador gives to Barnersville school Print E-mail

The United States Ambassador to Liberia has presented several teaching kits to the Barnesville Public School outside Monrovia.
 

Ambassador Donald Booth presented the kits to the Ministry of Education for the ministry’s Accelerated Learning Program Plus, ALPP.
 

The program targets more than fifty-four thousand over-aged students and to train one thousand five hundred thirty teachers.
 

Six counties including Bong, Grand Gedeh, Lofa, Maryland, Montserrado and Nimba will benefit from the Accelerated Learning Program.
 

A total of two hundred and seventy schools in the six counties will benefit from the program.
 

The Accelerated Learning Program is being implemented in partnership with the Ministry of Education and the American Government
