Bryant files US$2.6m bond Print E-mail

Former Transitional Chairman Gyude Bryant has filed a two-point-six million U.S. dollars criminal appearance bond.


Mr. Bryant appeared at the Criminal Court  ’C’ Tuesday after a writ of arrest was served on him.
 

The Justice Ministry charged Mr. Bryant with financial theft in the tune of more than one point three million U.S. dollars.
 

Former Solicitor General, Counselor Theophilus Gould, heads the legal defense team of the former transitional head of state.
 

State prosecutor has three days to contest of affirm the validity of the bond filed by Mr. Bryant.
 

An audit conducted by the regional body, ECOWAS three years ago implicated several top officials of the transitional government including Mr. Bryant.

It's good to hear that the former head of state is facing the state in court.I wish you all the best Mr.Bryant in your trial.

All you have to do is TRY HARD to be free according to the laws of Liberia.
