Medi-Lab International has donated a consignment of drugs valued at over 112-thousand US dollars to the Liberian Government.

The consignment consists of assorted pharmaceutical drugs including anti-malaria pills and painkillers.

Nimba County Senator Prince Johnson negotiated the donation during a foreign trip.

Senator Johnson said another consignment that will include anti-retroviral drugs is expected within two weeks.

He expressed the hope that the donation would help address the problem of drugs at the JFK and other parts of the Country.

Receiving the drugs, president Ellen Johnson Sirleaf thanked Senator Johnson for the initiative.

She said the action signals the spirit of cooperation among the branches of government.
