The National Elections Commission is expected to hold its second Electoral Law Reform forum on Friday in Monrovia.

A NEC release says the forum would reflect on the reform of constitutional and statutory electoral laws from the legal and civil society perspectives.

The forum would be held under the theme: consolidating the gains and making further improvement in the democratization process through elections.

According to the release, over one hundred participants drawn from political parties and civil society organizations would attend the forum.

Following the one-day deliberations, participants are expected to adopt a resolution on the electoral laws that need to be reformed.

The release said a position on the performance clause for political parties during national elections would also be adopted.
