The Development Superintendent of Sinoe County says a good road network will make Districts Development Committees more effective.

Mr. Joseph Jah said the absence of a good road network, is hindering the training of District Development Committee members.

Mr. Jah called on the UNDP and NGOs including the German Agro Action, to assist in the building of roads in the Southeastern region.

He spoke to Star Radio in Butaw, at the start of a weeklong training workshop for DDC members from Sanquin and butaw districts.

The New African Research and Development Agency is conducting the workshop with funding from the UNDP.
