The Nigerian Government is expected to turn over 15 vehicles to the Liberia National Police on Friday.

Police Inspector General Munah Sieh said the vehicles are part of Nigeria’s promise to help equip the LNP in its fight against crimes.

Col. Sieh said other equipment including tear gas would also be presented to the police.

Col. Sieh spoke on Thursday after the Netherlands Government presented 11 pick-ups to the police.

The Inspector General praised the Netherlands and UNMIL for the donation, and appealed to other friendly governments to follow suit.

She said the donation would help the police respond to crimes effectively.

The Deputy Head of UNMIL, Jordan Ryan, urged the Police administration to use the vehicles to protect the people.

Hope these vehicles are used for the intended purpose - official business. But I bet "Big Sharks" will be driving them around like they're their private properties!! Hope I am wrong
