The Public Works Ministry says it would go ahead with the demolition of all illegal structures under the Gabriel Tucker Bridge in Monrovia on Saturday.

The Director of Public Affairs told Star Radio the demolition of structures was necessary to prevent the Bridge from damage.

Mr. Fassama Kollie said criminals were using the structures as hideouts to harass peaceful citizens and undermine the bridge.

He said the demolition exercise would start at eleven in the morning.
