A Nimba County Representative has called on NGOs to provide assistance to victims of a rainstorm that devastated several communities in the Ganta area.

Representative Nohn Kidau told Star Radio the storm made hundreds of residents homeless.

She said several houses in Tonglaywin, Gborplaytown and the LPMC Communities were damaged by the storm.

Representative Kidau wants the ICRC, Liberian Red Cross and other humanitarian organizations to provide assistance for victims of the disaster.
