An UNMIL Civil Affairs Expert says a key challenge facing African Governments is corruption.

Madam Abinbola Aina said one effective way to tackle corruption is by promoting a lifestyle of honesty and integrity among young people.

She said UNMIL is collaborating with the Monrovia Consolidated School System to establish a pilot project that involves three public schools.

Madam Aina said the project would help sensitize and create a platform where students would solve problem without violence.

The UNMIL expert spoke Friday when the MCSS awarded three students who won an essay competition.

UNMIL, WiPNET and the Inter-religious council organized the essay competition.
