County health team denies diarrhea outbreak Print E-mail

The Grand Cape Mount County Health Team has denied media reports of diarrhea out break in Fula Camp, Porkpa District.


The County Assigned Medical Doctor told Star Radio there is no sign of an out break in the area.
 

Dr. Raymond Kromah said what was discovered during an assessment tour to Fula Camp was poor sanitary conditions.
  
Dr. Kromah said Fula Camp and surrounding villages do not have access to safe-drinking water and latrine facilities.
 

He said residents of the areas were vulnerable to water borne diseases.
 

A Local radio station reported Wednesday, that twenty-one persons died in Fula Camp as a result of a diarrhea outbreak.
