Police gets supply of ammunition to fight crimes Print E-mail

The Inspector General of the Liberia National Police says the Police have received sufficient supply of ammunition.



Colonel Beatrice Munah Sieh said the current supply of ammunition would enable the Police robustly deal with armed robbery.
 

She however refused to disclose the source of the supply of ammunition.
 

Col. Sieh said the lack of ammunition in the past was a major hurdle for the police in its strive to combat armed robbery.
 

She said the police would now begin to go after armed robbers.
 

The Police Boss said the LNP would continue to raid ghettoes and criminal infested communities in Monrovia and its environs.
 

Col. Sieh made the statement following a closed-door Executive session with the House of Representatives Thursday in Virginia.
