House National security committee wants Justice Ministry budget increase

The Chairman of the House Committee on National Security wants an increase in the budgetary allocation for the Justice Ministry in the proposed 2007-2008 Fiscal Budget.
Representative Saah Gbollie said such increment would enable security institutions combat crimes in the communities.
Representative Gbollie said the Liberia National Police needs vehicles and other logistics to enable it respond to the growing wave of criminal activities in the country.
He said there was a need to adequately empower the police to enable it combat criminal activities especially armed robbery.
