Government announces public sector capacity building programs

Government has announced the existence of three programs designed for capacity building in the public sector.

Civil Service Director William Allen said the programs include the Liberia Emergency Capacity Building Support Program and the Senior Executive Service.

Dr. Allen named the third program as the transfer of knowledge through expatriate Nationals program.

According to a civil service release, the programs would improve service delivery while Government’s comprehensive civil service program takes root.

The release said the programs constitute Government’s multi-point approach to capacity building.
