The opposition Liberty Party says it is not threatened by the warning from the NEC Chairman.

Liberty Party National Chairman said it is not afraid of section 1018 of the election law and would not be silenced by threats of suspension and expulsion.

Mr. Israel Akinsanya said the party maintained its position that there are plans by NEC to rig the run-off election in favor of the Unity Party.

He also maintained that there was a systematic attempt to conceal tally sheets in the first round of the election.

Mr. Akinsanya said the Party will oppose the commencement of the District Number Three Run-off Bi-election in the absence of tally sheets.

Liberty Party National Chairman, Israel Akinsanya said if the tally sheets are not seen before polling begins they could be filled in or altered.

Mr. Akinsanya alleged that a tally in Wesseh Town was changed from two to twenty in favor of the Unity Party during the first round of the bi-election.

To comment or exposit on this article, first of
all I will like to make one thing clear here to
Mr Akinsanya. Her majesty; President Johnson the escalator, the savior, and blessing for our
country won a free and fair election. N E C
need to take a trastic actiopn against him for
acusing her without a substaintial prove that she
rig election in favour of the unity party. you see,
people like Akinsanya should be brought to lustice; because saying these kind of things can
and will incite the minds of people to do bad
things like over throwing the government, bringing war in the country. I think this is the time for us to build our country and for get about what happened in the past and press forward for total peace and unism. Thanks, patrick .
