The former AFL soldier who government identified as state-witness in the treason trial has appeared in court with starling revelations.

Retired Colonel Andrew Dorbor told the Criminal Court ‘B’ he was
forcibly made to be part of what should be a plan to overthrow the government.

Col. Dorbor explained that he had traveled to Ivory Coast to see his daughter when a Liberian security officer and Ivorian security approached him.

The retired AFL soldier identified the Liberian security officer as one Mark Ambla of the National Security Agency, NSA.

Col. Dorbor further explained that he was kept in custody in the Ivory Coast for four months and given the names of thirty-two Liberians to be implicated.

According to him, it was the security officers who gave him the telephone numbers of Charles Julu and others named in the coup plot.

Col. Dorbor said he signed the document under duress to be placed in government’s protective custody.

Colonel Dorbor made the revelations when the state produced him in court Monday following a writ of Habeas Corpus filed by defense lawyers.

Meanwhile, the state formally arrested Col. Dorbor and charged him with treason after his explanation to the court.

This means retired Colonel Dorbor is no more a state witness but now a co-conspirator with Julu and former Speaker George Koukou.
