They enjoy our audio enhancements to stories, interactive features and other opportunities to communicate directly with writers and editors. Soon they will have the opportunity to speak to each other thereby creating an entire community of STAR radio members.
Advertisement Instructions
All advertisements sent for review include two parts - the Advertiser's Information and the full body of the proposed ad.
Advertisers should use STAR radio Advertisement Form, available as a separate file(as doc or pdf), to fill in the required information. They are then required to email this information to (

) for administrative review. Proposed advertisements can be formatted as Rich Text or Microsoft Word, and the ads in a GIF, JPEG or PNG format. They can be pasted into an email message or sent as an email attachment.
General requirements:
- We accept GIF, JPEG, PNG, Rich Media & Third Party Served ads.
- Ads on STAR radio website must follow the sizes of the templates.
- Creative with a white background must have a minimum 1-pixel border to differentiate ad from editorial content.
- Any sound must be user-initiated, defined as a click and not a mouseover or rollover, and clearly labeled with "Play" and "Stop" controls.
- News site advertising cannot be directly competitive and/or disparaging to STAR radio.
- All public policy, advocacy, political or candidate advertising must include a "Paid for by ___" label on all frames of the ad. It must be clear who placed the ad.
- All advertising content must be clearly differentiated from editorial content.
- STAR radio reserves the right to reject any ads that are disparaging to STAR radio or have potential for user confusion.
