Guilty verdict for Dorbor, Julu Print E-mail

Jury in the treason trial two former officers of the dissolved Armed Forces of Liberia, Retired Colonel Andrew Dorbor and General Charles Julu, has brought down a guilty verdict after hours of deliberation.


Colonel Dorbor and General Julu were being held for planning to overthrow the government.



President Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf pardoned the third accused, former transitional Speaker George Koukou Monday for what the President termed as spirit of reconciliation.



The trial of the AFL officers deeply divided public opinion.
