Nimba Police confiscates marijuana Print E-mail

Police in Nimba County has seized a huge consignment of Marijuana on board a transport vehicle in Ganta.
 

The consignment was arrested in Duoplay near Loguatuo at the Ivorian border and while enroute to Monrovia.
 

The Ganta Police CID Commander told Star Radio his agents were alerted in Karnplay and the vehicle was knocked down on Tuesday morning with six compressed bags.
 

Detective Alvin James said the car was abandoned and both the driver and the conductor at large with no passenger claiming the goods.
 

The substance is estimated at two hundred and fifty kilograms with the street value of over LD$300,000.
