Legislature: intense lobby over Firestone Agreement Print E-mail

What appears to be an internal fight has begun at the Legislature on the committees to guide the ratification proceedings of the new Firestone Agreement.

Lawmakers are fighting among themselves in the selection of the lead committee to look into the amended agreement.

Members of the House are divided on a motion giving the Judiciary Committee the oversight duty to chair the review process of the Firestone agreement.

Also, in the Senate there are confusions in the selection process of the committee to review the latest firestone deal.
