A City Police Officer was severely flogged and wounded by an officer of the Liberia National Police this morning.

Our reporter who visited the scene of clash between the two officers saw blood all over the city police officer identified as Capt. Aaron Klichie.

Our reporter said a disagreement ensued when the LNP officer prevented the interrogation of one private security officer charged with disorderly conduct.

Sources hinted our reporter that a top LNP officer manhandled the Director of City Police Emmanuel Crusoe last week.

Our sources said LNP officers are in the constant habit of assaulting City Police officers.

When contacted, the Director of City Police Emmanuel Crusoe said he could not comment.

Police authorities told Star Radio they are still investigating the flogging of City Police officer.
