Liberian international midfielder Oliver Makor has helped his club to another important league victory.

Makor scored for Ionikos in their fight to regain promotion to the Greek top flight.

Ionikos beat Olympiakos Volou 1-0 on Wednesday afternoon in an away match.

Makor rattled the net in the 84th minute from a brilliant effort.

The victory gave the club 41 points and they are fifth on the league.

Wednesday’s afternoon goal was Makor’s third in the club’s last three league matches.

Oliver Makor has been Ionikos leading goal scorer for the last two seasons but had been finding it difficult to score this season.
