The Minister of National Security-designate rejected by the Senate has broken silence since the Upper House announced his rejection last month.

Mr. Anthony Kromah appealed to the Senate Security Committee to make public findings of its investigation on him.

The senate said it rejected Mr. Kromah as National Security Minister because the minister-designate deceived the body on his academic credentials.

In his reaction, Mr. Kromah believes the Security Committee misled the plenary of the Senate that its findings were reached based on investigation on him.

According to him, there were un-announced factors involving some members of the Senate that influenced the decision to reject him.

Mr. Kromah said Senator Daniel Naathan owns the insurance company, Secure Risk, which he Kromah rejected when he served as Director of the NBI.

He further alleged Senator Lahal Lasana approached him to channel any lobby fee through him, which he received but did not inform his colleagues.

He however, did not say how much he allegedly gave Senator Lasana.

Mr. Kromah also said Senator Cletus Wotorson as a member of the committee rejected him because he dismissed Wotorson’s nephew for alleged criminal behavior.

Meanwhile, four members of the Senate have reported threats on their lives.

The senators said their lives are being threatened by the rejected Minister of National Security, Anthony Kromah.

The senators are Cletus Wotorson, Sumo Kupee, Daniel Naathan and Lahai Lassana.

They complained that Mr. Kromah had been holding meetings with individuals to attack them.

According to them, Mr. Kromah’s action is in protest to his rejection by the Upper House.

The senators did not comment on claims by Mr. Kromah that he was rejected based on malice.

Meanwhile the Senate has invited Justice Minister Phillip Banks to provide explanation on why he refused to provide security for the threatened Senators.

Minister Banks is to appear before the Senate on Tuesday.
