Police have sent to court an eighteen-year-old man for armed robbery and gang rape.

Tarnue Quenhungue was arrested May 16, two days after the act was committed.

Tarnue and several others allegedly broke into the home of a 30-year-old woman on 14th Street in Sinkor.

According to the Police, the men took away valuables worth nearly ten thousand Liberian dollars before rapping the woman.

Tarnue told Star Radio he had to link with the crime.

Tarnue claimed to be a fisherman and a resident of the 12th Street community who has nothing to do with armed robbery.

The Police charge sheet said all the other accomplices are at large.
