Two first aid graduates arrested for murder in Ganta Print E-mail

Two graduates of a First Aid Training Center in Ganta, Nimba County have been arrested on charge of murder and criminal facilitation.


Edwin Stewart and Hittie Nenway graduated from the Bangladeshi First Aid Training Center in the commercial district of Ganta.
 

They were arrested in connection with the death of a lady in Gbahn.
 

The lady, Yei Dwanyen died after an abortion was performed on her by Edwin Stewart upon the request of her husband, Hittie Nenway.
 

Ganta Police told our correspondent the two suspects informed investigation Yei Dwanyen was injected with 'Projustron' solution to abort a three-month old pregnancy.
 

Hittie told Police investigation Yei's condition worsened after the injection and she was taken to the Ganta Methodist Hospital where she was given DNC.
 

He further explained Yei was discharged without improvement in her condition and died three days later at the Power House Clinic.
 

According to our correspondent, the Ganta Methodist Hospital is yet to produce a medical report requested by the Police.
