International midfielder Ben Teekloh has described the injury sustained by Murphy Nagbe as serious.
Ben Teekloh told Star Radio the injury sustained by the Lone Star captain had an impact on the team’s performance.
Murphy Nagbe broke his left foot midway in the first half of the match against Senegal last Saturday.
Teekloh disclosed he broke down in tears when he saw his teammate scrammed.
“I felt very bad and frustrated about the situation and I am joining the rest of the team to sympathize with the captain”, he told Star Radio.
The Liberian midfielder who plays his club football for Farul Constanta in Romania commenting on the defeat suffered against Senegal said the host was fortunate to walk away with the win.
Teekloh refused to shift blame on any of his teammates and stated the team was still building up.
He wants Liberians to keep faith in the team as they would upset the continent in the next three to four years.
