Injured Liberian defender Murphy Nagbe is hopeful he will recover in time for the home match against Algeria.
Murphy Nagbe speaking to Star Radio from his hospital bed said he hopes to fully recover in five months.
Medical doctors have given the player five weeks to remove the iron from his broken left foot.
He would later undergo rehabilitation in Senegal for about two months.
The Lone Stat captain disclosed he has been given five thousand dollars and promised a monthly salary of a thousand United States until he gets fit again.
The money is being provided by the Lone Star Mobilization Committee.
Murphy Nagbe told Star Radio the injury also cost him to miss two opportunities he had to go to Europe.
