Detained Margibi County Senator Roland Kaine and others accused of murder would make their first appearance in court on Thursday.

They are to appear at the Kakata Magisterial Court.

Senator Kaine and thirteen others are facing trial for the murder of fourteen men in a land dispute in a border town of Margibi and Grand Bassa Counties.

The land dispute involved Senator Kaine and Mr. Charles Bennie.

Meanwhile, there have been calls for the immunities and benefits of the senator to be suspended pending his trial but the Senate has rejected the calls.
