The body of an unidentified man believed to be in his twenties was discovered Friday under the old Gardnersville Bridge outside Monrovia.

According to residents of the community, the body was discovered by a woman early Friday morning.

The residents said the body was discovered in the morning after they heard someone crying late in the night.

Our reporter who visited the scene said the body had wounds on his chest, head and right foot.

A resident of the area who identified himself as Paul Togba said they are concerned about the continuous mysterious deaths in their area.

He observed state protection was weak and said they would form a vigilante group to protect themselves.

Mr. Togba said killing has become the order of the day in the Gardnersville area and the residents are living in fear.
