The Liberia Football Association has launched an investigation into a complaint filed by premiership club Watanga.

The investigation involves the transfer of Watanga midfielder Theo Weeks to Ankaraspor of Turkey.

Watanga FC in a letter to the football body said it did not form part of the transfer arrangement of Theo Weeks.

The club is also claiming it was not aware about the value and duration of the contract.

Watanga is also reported to have accused the LFA Secretary General of playing a double hand game.

The chairman of the special committee set up to investigate the complaint told Star Radio two of the parties accused by the club denied knowledge of their involvement in the deal.

Mr.Pennoh Bestman said Secretary George Williams and Lone Star Coach Tony Hey denied having a part to player in the transfer.

Mr.Bestmn said his committee is awaiting the arrival into the country of the deputy coach whom it is believed facilitated the deal.

An official of Watanga clarified their interest is not to see the player lost his contract but they want to get their fair share of the transfer fee.
