Liberian international Francis Doe was on the score sheet over the weekend in the US Superliga Cup competition.
Francis Grandpa Doe scored the only goal in his club league defeat on Saturday evening in Washington DC.
Houston Dynamo beat DC United 3-1 to advance to the semi final of the Superliga cup competition.
Grandpa Doe scored his club consolation goal in the 76th minute of the match.
According to DC United website, Francis Doe scored after he headed in a left corner kick from teammate Marc Burch.
Elsewhere in the USA, John Menyongar was the hero in his club Rochester Rhinos win over former club Minnesota Thunder.
Menyongar grabbed the match winner for his club in the 19th minute of the game.
