The Liberia Football Association has announced it has forwarded the ITC of young Liberian midfielder Theo Weeks to the Turkish Football Association.
The ITC is the International Transfer Certificate.
The former Watanga FC star player transferred to Turkish Superliga outfit Ankaraspor early this month.
The Secretary General of the local football governing body said the group forwarded Week’s ITC on 28 July.
Mr. George Williams clarified that there was no conflict surrounding the transfer of the player.
Mr. Williams assured the player was officially a player of Watanga and that whatever comes from his transfer would go to his mother club.
He denied reports that Theo Weeks was a Barrolle player and stated the Rollers would only get development fee from the transfer.
Theo Weeks signed a three year deal with Ankaraspor in a transfer deal that was reported to be five hundred thousand United States Dollars.
