Lone Star striker James Koko Lomell has left the country to tryout with a Belgian first division club.
Koko Lomell who last played in Indonesia for PSM Medan will be in Belgium for one week to justify with Jupiler league side Chaleroi.
The lone star striker left the country Tuesday and was invited by authorities of Chaleroi after they spotted him play for Liberia and his club.
Koko Lomell is expected to replace Nigerian born skipper, Joseph Akpala, who is expected to close a 3 million deal with Brugge, another 1st division outfit.
The Liberian player could sign a three year contract if he impresses the technical staff of the Belgian club.
Koko Lomell said he was grateful to be invited to Belgium to try out with Chaleroi and promised to do his best in order o secure a contract with the club.
According to the Chaleroi Agents, the acceptance of Lomell is not to only replace Joseph Akpala but to also help the team to clinch the Jupiler championship.
Chaleroi noted for her colors, black & white, took the 5th place in the Jupiler league last season.
