Liberian international Anthony Laffor has signed an official three year contract with South Africa’s Supersport United.

Laffor had earlier signed a pre-contract with the club while he was still a Jomo Cosmos player.

The Liberian striker completed the move after an impressive preseason with his new club.

New signing Anthony Laffor is looking forward to playing his first match in the city side's colors.

Laffor has the full backing of Superport Coach Gavin Hunt who was delighted to sign him.

Laffor spent six months on the sidelines at his former club Jomo Cosmos because of a contractual dispute.

The Liberian star admitted he has not played competitive football in the last six months.

He expressed gratitude that he has finally joined the club of his dreams.

Laffor could have also chosen to move to United's city rivals Mamelodi Sundowns who also expressed keen interest in him.

Laffor said he does not regret joining United stating the club is professional - and always aim high.

Supersport United are the current champions of South African football and will play in the champions league.
