Crayton in talks with DC United Print E-mail

American major League club DC United has opened negotiations with Liberian goalkeeper Louis Crayton.


According to reports, DC United is pursuing a goalie to compete with Zach Wells for a starting position.
 

Louis Crayton who currently plays for FC Basel in Switzerland could likely join the MLS club for a first team place.
 

The Liberian goalkeeper is currently a back up to Basel captain Franco Costanzo.
 

Reports say the deal may likely be completed by next week.
 

Meanwhile, another Switzerland based Liberian player has joined Romanian Premier League club CS Otopeni.
 

Patrick Nyema Gerhartd has joined the newly promoted club on an attractive one year deal.
 

Nyema Gerhartd will now join fellow Liberian Ben Teekloh in the Romanian league.
