Personnel of the disbanded Armed Forces of Liberia have called on former Chief of Staff, Retired General Henry Dubar to re-appear before the truth commission.

A spokesman of the group said General Dubar must re-appear to clarify his testimony on the August 24, 1984 incident at the University of Liberia because he did not tell the truth.

Col. Wolo Nagbe said the former Chief of Staff lied when he told the TRC that he was never present on the campus of the university during the incident.

According to Col. Nagbe, General Dubar was present on the UL Campus with former Defense Minister, Gray Allison during the incident.

He said the disbanded servicemen have in their possession video clip to show that indeed General Dubar was actively involved in the 1984 UL saga.

Col. Nagbe indicated that they would make available the evidence to substantiate their claim when the TRC invites them.

The former Chief of Staff dismissed the claims and challenged anyone to prove that he lied during his testimony before the Truth and Reconciliation Commission.

Retired General Dubar told Star Radio all what he said at the TRC hearings remains nothing but the truth.
