The bureau also suspended Lt./Col. Rudolph Darway and Major Harry Shair, two officers assigned with the Grand Gedeh detail of the BIN.

According to a BIN statement, the officers were suspended for issuing Alien Registration data forms to twelve Burkinabes and an Ivorian national.

The data forms were intended to enable the thirteen aliens reside and work in the country.

The Immigration Bureau further announced the suspension of its Bo-Waterside Commander Lt./Col. Ada Obiamiwe for one month.

The Deputy Immigration Commander at the Bo-Waterside Colonel Gbakoon Monger has as well been suspended for time indefinite.
