The head of a delegation from Pleebo Sodoken District in Maryland County says the Maryland Legislative caucus is not working in the interest of the county.

Mr. Jerome Neufville president of the Yambo Development Association said the caucus continues to carry out changes at the Cavalla Rubber Plantation in their own interest.

He said the Legislative Caucus was using the plantation as a gamble to amass wealth at the detriment of the impoverished people.

Mr. Neuvfille said since the revolution there have been several changes in management which is not benefiting the district.

However, a Senator of Maryland County said the best option for Maryland County now is the Bakrie Sumatera Plantation.

Senator John Ballout said the Salala rubber Corporation is not financially potent to operate the plantation.
