The Sinoe County Legislative caucus has condemned Tuesday’s violence at the Sinoe Rubber Plantation that left several persons wounded and houses burned.
The chairman of the caucus told star radio the incident was unfortunate and that caucus would not condone violence at the Plantation.
Senator Mobutu Nyepan also dismissed claims that he masterminded the violence at the Plantation.
According to him at no time he ordered any citizen of Sinoe to wage violence at the Plantation.
The Supervisor of the Monitoring team set up by government Joe Flahn had accused Senator Nyepan of being behind the violence.
A report obtained by star radio said there has been a rift between the government monitoring team and the Citizens Welfare Committee.
