The family of detained Margibi County Senator Roland Kaine has expressed concern over the manner in which the transfer of the case is being handled.

In a statement the Kaine’s family said it was troubled over the claims and counter claims surrounding the transfer document of the case.

A member of the family Orlando Sammie said they were greatly interested in the speedy trail of the case.

Defense lawyers in the murder case involving Senator Roland Kaine accused the State of seizing the files containing the transfer documents of the case.

The Defense team alleged the Justice Ministry ordered the Sheriff of the 13th Judicial Circuit Court not to take the files to Criminal Court A.

But Solicitor General Tiawon Gongloe denied diverting the documents and said such documents are sent from Court to Court.

Senator Kaine and fourteen others are in detention for their role in the Temor district massacre in which more than sixteen people were killed.
