Laffor recuperating Print E-mail

Liberian international Anthony Laffor is recuperating from a bad concussion he suffered last weekend.


Supersport United reported on their website, Laffor was recovering after he was roughly tackled a Mamelodi Sundowns player on Saturday.


Laffor suffered the concussion during the second leg of the MTN 8 Cup semi final at the Atteridgeville’s Super Stadium.


The Liberian international is expected to be out of action for about to or three weeks.


According to Supersport United Team Manager, Webster Lichaba, Laffor left the hospital the same night and has been given time to rest.


Team Manager Lichaba hopes the Liberian star will rejoin the tem soon stating the player will be missed.


Lichaba wished the player well and said the Liberian had gotten use to the way the team plays.


The player who injured Laffor paid him a visit to wish him speedy recovery.
