The office of suspended Senate Pro Temp Isaac Nyenabo has denied allegation that he served as Director of War of the disbanded LURD rebel movement.

Senator Nyenabo’s office clarified that Mr. Joe Wylie lied under oath because no such position existed within the command structure of LURD.

A release described Mr. Wylie’s claim before the TRC as total fabrication as Mr. Nyenabo has had no military knowledge to have directed rebel forces.

Senator Nyenabo who re-affirmed his support for the TRC process cautioned that witnesses who lied under oath should be prosecuted.

Meanwhile, the suspended Senate Pro Temp says he’s prepared to meet with youth groups who desire an   understanding of issues arising from the Legislature.

He believes during these critical times it was necessary for national leaders to continue to engage youthful minds in finding a way forward for Liberia.
