Edu-Care
Liberia says there are still a lot of flaws in the education sector of the country.

The Chief Executive Officer of the group attributed the situation to lack of adequate training for teachers in the country.

According to Mrs. Deola Marak, some of the teachers are not computer literate.

Mrs. Marak said the correction of these flaws must begin with capacity building of teachers.

She however, said Edu-care Liberia intends to strengthen the capacities of teachers through out the country.

Mrs. Marak believes in the absence of an educated society, the political stability of the country would be threatened.

The Edu-care Liberia CEO spoke to Star Radio following the opening of a three-day Teachers Enhancement Program.

The program brings together one hundred twenty public and private school teachers in the Monrovia area.
