State of Maryland donates road equipment to Bong County

The State of Maryland in the United States of America has donated a set of road grading equipment to Bong County.
Bong County in Central Liberia has a sisterly relationship with the state of Maryland in the United States.
The Liaison Officer of the relationship said the equipment was turned over to Superintendent Ranney Jackson and Representative George Mulbah while visiting the United States.
Mr. Fairnoh Gbilah told Star Radio the equipment is expected to arrive in the country shortly to begin the rehabilitation of roads Bong County.
Mr. Gbilah also disclosed that a team of engineers from the Engineers without Borders in the U.S. is expected in the country.
The engineers are to construct three modern bridges in the central regional city of Gbarnga.
Mr. Glilah described the donation of the equipment as a remarkable achievement in the history of the Bong County.
